Ok, I'll start a specific show thread. I don't know if it's available outside the US, but 24 is one of the most action filled, gripping shows on tv in my opinion.

As some might know, anyone could get killed at any time, and there's always something big on the line. Of course, if you've been watching for a while, the amnesia bit in season 1 was a little weak, and Kim is a total dingbat, but overall this is one ya probably don't want to miss.

However, if you try jumping in mid-season it's kinda tough, so when it comes back around, get on, and hold on for a wild ride.

I jump into it occasionally and find its not too hard to get whats going on, although some of the slight hints are a bit hard to put together

I've seen the first 2 seasons but missed the 3rd because my working hours are different every day. Great stuff! But one of my all time favorites is "Married with children" - there's a dang lot of Al Bundy in me and you, guys! I recorded more than 60 hours of it on tape and dvd and recommend it as a severe warning and preventive program to everyone who thinks of getting married. Watch a few of these series - and if you still want to marry, there is no saving you at all...

the intro to "married with children" is soooooooo like my house as in, he sits on the chair, hand in one pocket diggin out the money to give out to the wife n kids....
so "married with children" and the simpsons are heaven sent series to my tv, if you can get me off my pc

On a different note....*drum roll* A 24 movie has been greenlighted! Whooohoooo! Tentatively scheduled for release after season 6 finishes airing. That's next summer folks!

Or maybe the movie will be 24 hours long !!!!! WoW !!!! Imagine sitting in a cinema for that darn long and how numb yer a$$ would be !!!!
