Hello racers i have the opportunity to test the new Windows 8, as it works with my nfs:

1. NEED FOR SPEED (I) (no tested)
2. NEED ROR SPEED (II) (no tested)

Software graphic (1024x768)
Stock Pack - game running in 100% (no lags)
Expansion Pack - some cars no work (Gulf Porshe,Lista Ferrari) like on older OS WinX (no lags)
Direct 3D
SP/EP - game runing very slow (not playable)
Glide
Nglide emulator
SP/EP - game runing in 100% (are perceived slight lag (very smoll)) (playable)
Zeckensack emulator
SP/EP - game running in 100% (no lags)
5. NEED FOR SPEED PU/P2K(V) (tested)
Direct 3D - game runing very slow (not playable)
Glide (Nglide emulator) - feeling very smoll lag during playing on all settings (playable)

6. NEED FOR SPEED HP2(VI) (tested) Game runing in 100% (no lags) (1280x1024)
7. NEED FOR SPEED UG(VII) (tested) Game runing in 100% (no lags) (1280x1024)
8. NEED FOR SPEED UG2(VIII) (tested) Game runing in 100% (no lags) (1600x1200)
9. NEED FOR SPEED MW(IX) (tested) Game can not even installed win8 takes it for Need For Speed UG.
(future test installing nfs UG in difrent place or just uinstall then trying to install nfs MW).
10.NEED 4 SPEED CAR(X) (no tested)
11.NEED 4 SPEED PS(XI) (tested) Game crash in during opening (after patch installed) (more test in future)
12.NEED 4 SPEED UND(XII) (no tested)
13.NEED 4 SPEED SHIFT(XIII) (tested) Geme runing in 100% (no lags)
14.NEED 4 SPEED WO(XIV) (no tested)
15.NEED 4 SPEED NIT(XV) (no tested)

With the passage of time will be given further tests of new nfs

All testing was done on the same hardware:
Windows 8 64bit
Monitor Manta DVI max(1680x1050)
AMD FX8120 (on stock 3.1GHz and stock cooler)
ASrock 990FX Extream3
kingstone hyperx beast 2x8GB 2400MHz
Graphic Card AMD HD6670 1GB/DDR3
All testing was done on maximum settings graphic and resolutions

It would be nice to see tests on windows 8 other Need 4 Speed. Please write your opinions and do tests on yours win8.

Thx for the info, hope it helps to anyone who willing to test old games, most of the new games 2012+ are working on that windows.

I would add that I run Windows 8 as well and I have no problems with NFS High Stakes (4) and NFS Most Wanted 2012, but I wait for NFS Rivals, I hope this going to be a great game

I also run Mass Effect 3, StarCraft 2 Wings of Liberty and Heart Of the Swarm, FIFA 13 and Diablo 3 with no problems.

And I will be having FIFA 14 soon and I hope Diablo 3 expansion comes out early next year, Reaper Of Souls.

All is on Windows 8.

Jut a small note, when I got Windows 8 it was very fresh and was look of as a tablet windows, back then there was a fix to have it as a normal windows, just like Windows 7 interface, since Windows 8 was more like a tablet interface with no start button and etc.
Start8 is the program which makes Windows 8 normal windows and have start button and don't have any crazy pop up screens at every edge of the screen. But what I heard is that new or current update includes Start button. But I am not sure and I don't want to chek it out I have start8 that is enough for me

I have bad news
I will not testing nfs on win8 becouse i update my system to win10:( but it is a good side too my old best nfs HS and PU start works fine on 3D in new win10:).
This is good changeing for me And i wanna ask you racers if yours HS/PU works fine too or just it is for my pc configuration which allowed 3D without lag.
