Hey folks,

Well, Voodoom predicted this about a week before Gamespy stopped server support for HP2. I was hopeful they were wrong but I can't help but feel that's the case. It seems the participation here has nosedived and has done everything but crashed and burned. Where do we go from here? I don't know. I haven't stopped racing but the on-line racing simply hasn't appealed to me like it used to.

I'm going to spend some time away for a bit to plan my upcoming wedding and future with the one who has kept me perpetually smiling for the last year. Take it easy everyone. Good luck.

All the best
Nat

Good luck with the wedding!

I can assure you that it is not the end for us at IPLounge. A year may have passed, but our ambitions for the game are still the same and we are striving to achieve them. We still have the same people showing up and racing. Whether or not anyone else wishes to, that's their choice. We won't abandon HP2.

As always I was looking forward to race a lot of HP2 this winter. Had noticed my class 1 forward direction ranking was not good and needed attention. A damaged hand forced me to stop driving. It's taken a long time to heal. Still the thumb has not improved enough. Guessing it's going to be another 2 to 3 weeks before I can give it a go. Hope to be back on the tracks early in the new year.
